Top 5 TV Series of 2010 where plot counts a lot

when you have an hard task to finish, or when you have a too easy job to do, procrastinating while watching a TV Show is one of the best things that a man can get from life. In our society devoted to the wellness and to the deep repudiation of all the pains, we need a constant, always available hug feeling. What still reminds us that we are human is not thinking that there is someone you can help outside your house, it’s a TV program that still can entertain, inside your house. Anyway, your’re not here to read my complains about society, you are here to read my reviews, since everyone knows they are the best on the planet.

1st- Best TV serie of the 2010

Fringe (season 2)

Fringe has the best main plot i’ve seen on TV since Quantum Leap. Fringe it’s not just science fiction, it is an alternative way of seeing the human being drama, with one of the best actors on earth (John Noble), and nice single episode plots. I cannot really  say anything about the plot since it has so many turnups that i don’t want to spoil them to you. My favorite character is John Noble’s crazy scientist with an insane passion for everything that’s not even imaginable, warning: incredibly intense acting. As the season goes on the writers seem to forget the characters’ personal stories since they must subdue to the almighty plot, it’s a very nice plot so it becomes the job of the actors to keep the characters alive, and they do it quite well.

2nd- Best TV Serie of 2010

Lie To me (season 2)

Lie To Me is Tim Roth’s point of view on acting. Main topic should be modern behavioral science and the whole tv show is about lie detection based on the influences of emotions on the innate facial expressions and body language. Anyway it’s not really about ways of detecting lies, it’s about acting school, so since i’m a wannabe actor, that’s my daily bread. Too bad the main plot is completely hidden by too many useless fillers.

3rd- Best Tv Serie of 2010

Walking Dead (1st season)

The slowest and more intense horror tv show i’ve ever seen. The main plot seems nice but it really never develops since the narrative time is impossibly slow. The director somehow incredibly gets to film everything with an amazing suspense, that many times for me it’s too much, and my girlfriend hears me screaming like a little chicken. I don’t really like the acting of these guys but i imagine that represent fear about 200 times a day it’s difficult, so i forgive the actors.

4rt- Best TV Serie of 2010

Grey’s Anatomy (5th season)

Grey’s Anatomy is probably a cult because of the omnipresent narration voice, cool characters and impossible science in action while people is arguing about sex and continuous mating between hospital crew. They probably don’t know how to develop each character personal story, as time passes by, they just get obsessed with something. one is obsessed with sex, one is obsessed by solitude, one is obsessed by his autistic wife, one is obsessed by her virginity, one is obsessed by his crazy family members, one is obsessed with her being lesbian, one was obsessed with alchool but now he’s better.

5th- Best Tv Serie of 2010

Breaking Bad

The main character is a cult, anyway i got bored after the first 2 episodes. So why is it in the top 5? Because my expert tv show consultant says it’s one of the best tv series ever so i trust him. I simply do not find enough interesting things in the human story of the main guy. He breaks bad, but he seems to have all the moral issues that he should have broken, so i see a mega-moral haunting the whole show (= bad).

5 bonus Fillers

  • The big Bang theory: funny
  • true blood: crappy special effects + vampires + wonderful ending of the third season.
  • the sopranos: i got bored after the first 20 minutes, but again my TV show consultant says it’s worth it, then it gets in the post.
  • what i know about your mom: my sister likes this, i haven’t seen a single episode.
  • psych: i use it to learn english, and i like the flashbacks.

recensione: the wrestler
